Steeler Day at School

We had Steeler Day at school on Friday, so the girls wore their cheerleader uniforms and their class had a pep rally in the gym. The girls had so much fun making Steeler shakers and dancing and jumping with their friends to Steeler music.

Snow Day!

We had a snow day on Wednesday, so we spent pretty much the entire morning in our pajamas! First we set up a Little People town in Nicholas' room and then a Barbie town in the girls' room. We had a lot of fun. During Nicholas' nap time, the girls and I attempted to make a heart cake, but, to make a long story short, we ended up with no cake, a smoke filled kitchen, and an oven that needs cleaned before we can use it again. Oh well, the cake batter tasted delicious!

Movie Time

The kids watched the Hannah Montana/ Miley Cyrus DVD in 3D over the weekend. They looked cute in their glasses! Then Alina dressed-up like Hannah and performed along with the concert. And Nicholas pretended to be the prince from Sleeping Beauty by riding a horse and using his fireman's ax as a sword to "get away the bad witch" (a toy Malificent figure). We watch way too many Disney movies!!

Pittsburgh's Going to the Super Bowl!!

Yea Steelers!!! The kiddos were excited for this weekend's game, too. We played the old Steeler songs before the game and they danced around and sang. The girls are learning how to Polka!! Maddie didn't have a microphone nearby, so she improvised with a small baseball bat. Oh, and my parents got a really big new TV last week - just in time to watch the Steelers in the Super Bowl! Good timing, Mom and Dad!!

Playing in the Snow!

The kids were so excited that it snowed today! It wasn't very good packing snow - so no snowmen or good snowballs, but we still had fun. The kids especially enjoyed tackling Daddy and throwing snow on him. Josie has always loved the snow, so she had a good time, too.

Rock Stars

Check out our rock stars in this youtube video! Before pressing "play" on the video, you'll need to stop the Hannah Montana song on the player at right. You may need to turn the volume up for the video, but back down again if you restart Hannah Montana.
