Legion Park

So I decided to brave Legion Park with the three kids by myself. They were wonderful! We went really early, so we pretty much had the park to ourselves. And the girls were very good helpers - as you can tell by the photos! Nicholas loved the tunnel and the slide. Maddie and Alina loved the slides, climbing the nets, and the monkey bars.

Family Reunion

Poptarts for Breakfast

Nicholas wanted to sit with the girls at their table instead of in his high chair. He thought he was such a "biggie boy!"

Fourth of July!

Nicholas' First Band-Aid

Although Nicholas has had many boo-boos, this was the first that required a Band-Aid! He liked to show it to his sisters and get kisses to make it feel better.

Aunt Nat's Bridal Shower

Nags Head, N.C., 2008

The kids loved playing in the sand and the waves at Nags Head, N.C.! Nicholas stuck his fingers in all the sand holes to try to find crabs. Maddie caught a few small sand crabs and they didn't even pinch her. After not going near the ocean the previous week, Alina spent most of her time jumping the waves. The kids also enjoyed building and decorating giant sand castles with Daddy. A fabulous time was had by all!

We celebrated Baba's birthday in the beach house.



The girls pretended that they were princesses and that the deck was their castle. Their beach towels served as curtins. They enjoyed singing like princesses for the rest of us at the pool below!

Myrtle Beach, 2008

Gi and Nicholas in the beach house at Myrtle Beach! All the fun in the sun made Nicholas very hungry and thirsty. He needed lots of snacks and drinks! Nicholas, Maddie, and Alina really enjoyed the aquarium! They really liked seeing the sting rays and sharks and fish that looked like they could be from "Nemo." Maddie touched a sting ray and a horseshoe crab!

"Broadway at the Beach" - the kids loved riding the horses with Pappy Foor, Aunt Nat, and Uncle Matt! We were so surprised when the girls wanted to ride the airplanes - but they loved it!

The girls love to pose for every picture these days - and Nicholas loves to smile for the camera! The girls enjoyed dancing in the spray from the water fountain at "Broadway at the Beach." And they loved swimming with Daddy in the pool at the beach house. The pool had a picture of a mermaid at the bottom - they thought that was so cool!
