Hope you enjoy some of my favorite songs by Irish bands in honor of St. Patrick's Day! Now that Ian has realized he's one-quarter Irish, he's eager to embrace St. Patrick's Day traditions - not that he's ever needed an excuse to drink some Killian's. Matt Mac - I'm supposed to tell you that "Tessie" goes out to you!
We celebrated Pap Gdula's birthday over the weekend. The kids enjoyed seeing their great-grandparents, Aunt Judi, Uncle Mac, Baba, Pappy Po, and Aunt Vicky and Uncle Dave.
Helping Pap blow out his candles.
The kids pretended they were on a "camp out" with Uncle Dave and Aunt Vic. Maddie said she wanted to tell spooky stories, so everyone took turns. They had a lot of fun making up spooky and funny stories. Although Nicholas looks a little scared in the this photo - maybe because he's so close to Uncle Dave's beard. Just kidding!! Pap Gdula told a really good story that had everyone laughing, Nicholas told one about an mean step-mother and fairy godmother (from Cinderella), Uncle Dave told one about Mrs. Openheimer and the bony piles, and Aunt Vicky tried to tell a spooky story that included a "woooooo" sound, but Maddie promptly told her that that was just the wind.
